Dietary and Nutrition
  • The module accepts standard user-defined menu types, as well as diet combinations.
  • Authorized users are allowed to modify menus at any time.
  • User can stop certain menu if required.
  • Using alternative items is allowed.
  • Ability to make dietary analysis for each meal (calories and caloric types fat-protein, nutrient).
  • Authorized users are allowed to define each nutrient data (basic components, mineral, vitamins,.. etc and calories source for each item.
  • Restricting certain menu for certain patient age.
  • Restricting meals timely basis (from time, to time).
  • Unlimited menu days is supported and ability to be repeated.
  • Multi choice of menu in the same day is supported.
  • User can define an alternative items for each menu items.
  • The doctor can write a suitable diet for the patient, and can write special instructions for each patient.
  • Modification or correction is fully handled by the system by comparing the patient choices with the user-defined standards.
  • Ability to identify meals ordered for companion or guest(s).
  • Ability to prepare a summarized list of all food items. On each food item information about special instructions regarding food preparation for the patient.
  • Automatic tracking of the patient status (NPO, cancel NPO, and discharge).
  • New admissions and discharges will be detected by the system after the diet list report being printed.
  • A production work sheet will give full details about the needed items and their suggested quantities.
