integrated with Patient Registration system
to access patient demographic data.
- OASIS system allows for
the subsequent addition at the nursing
station.
- Processing of patient
transfers between bed/rooms, specialties
and/or attending physicians with automatic
notification to concerned departments
(e.g. Dietary, Housekeeping) that the
transfer has taken place.
- Ability to process and record temporary
absences of inpatients from the hospital
e.g. when out on a weekend pass.
- Processing of patient discharges and
deaths including updating of bed availability
and census information as well as notification
to concerned departments.
- OASIS system allows for
the automatic registration and admission
of newborn babies including the production
of identification plates, case facesheets
and identification arm-bands.
- Ability to change
pre-admission booking when beds become
available including automatic notification
to clinical and support departments
and user-defined advice to patients.
Changes could be re-assigned to different
beds or re-scheduled to a different
time.
- Ability to make on-line inquiries
into patient census and bed availability
information. Inquiry access to be strictly
limited to authorized employees.
- Ability to produce scheduled and on-demand
census reports.
Generate periodic and on-demand statistical
analysis of ADT activity in accordance
with user-specifications.
- Facility to swap two patients either
between beds or wards without the need
of using temporary bed.
