Ability to immediately identify the current location for all patients’ medical records.

Ability to identify multiple locations for the same record in the event of multiple volumes.

 Identify when signed out charts are overdue for return to library.

Provide an automated purge list.  Based upon encounter dates for inactive records.

Must be able to produce and read standard bar code labels.

Supports automatic notification to MR department upon patient’s transfer from one ward to another.

Supports sending patient’s chart against outpatient appointment. Emergency encounter and ADT visit.
