Cardiac Catheterization Lab

  • This module is designed for booked or walk-in cath-lab patients and to manage the cath-lab rooms. Following are some of its main features:

  •  

  • Session definition for each doctor per cath-lab room.
  • Define for each staff a procedure length.
  • Doctor can book a patient for today or in the future by himself by choosing one procedure or more.
  • User can reserve slots for special cases.
  • User can check for patient detail.
  • User can check if the patient admitted or not.
  • User can write a warning or note for a specific patient.
  • Doctor can schedule or cancel his appointment only but front desk nurse has an optional authority to schedule or cancel any appointment and can book a patient for today or in future even doctor is not scheduled or in E.R. cases as an example.
  • Authorized users can view patient’s diagnosis.
  • The module also include the following information:

    • Anesthetist Doctor
    • Surgeon Assist
    • Register Anesthesia
    • Tech. Anesthesia
    • Scrub Nurse
    • Circulating Nurse

    • Delivery Start
    • Delivery End
    • Transfer To Recovery Room
    • Transfer To Ward
    • Most of the previous data could be chosen through List of Values, also you can add one or more doctor or procedure, etc.
    • A function to report the procedure done with a required authority of one who can write the report and who can verify it, and also,  report can be written either by the Transcriptions nurse on behalf of the doctor or by his authorized assistant.
    • Report could be amended by the dictating doctor,  in this case another verification should take place.
    • Authorized users can reject reports.
    • You can print report of current procedure or print all report that belongs to the concerned patient.
    • Possibility to call checklist tools which belong to this procedure.
    • Staff authorization for viewing reports.
    • Spelling checker has been added to report function.
  • User can print the patient checklist with a user-defined format (MS-Word as an example).
  • Statistic reports and user-defined reports are available.
  • Ability to request patient from the ward by slip and transfer back to ward by slip.
