Physiotherapy
  • The system is fully integrated with the Online Ordering System to receive orders requested by physicians, nursing, OPC, ER, WARDS, and other units. The system in return acknowledge these orders by sending replies regarding appointment date and time with an attach reminders required for the requested treatment orders. It IS also able to identify STAT requests. Walk in patients, whether new or re visit can also be managed. Schedule and Rescheduling building can be don by authorized staff. The system incorporates very flexible appointment facilities that allow various users defined scheduling and treatment programs.
  • The system has an integrated appointment scheduling system with the following capabilities:
  • - Establishment of a master records containing the rotation schedule for each modality treatment and procedure and its associated booking rules, appointment length, etc.

    - Ability to book patients in advance for specific treatment procedures.

    - Automatic identification of the next available appointments.

    - Ability to record a patient’s arrival, the procedures undertaken, and disposition of the patients.

    - Automatic production of lists of appointed patients at a user-specified time in advance.

    - Changes to the schedule due to emergencies, no-shows, changed appointment lengths, etc.

  • The system is totally integrated with the Patient Master Index to obtain basic patient’s demographics and to properly identify patients whose Medical Record are not known.
  • The system is flexible in adding or removing new treatment modalities or any P.T treatment procedure.
  • The system provides the ability to support the use of bar coding for properly identifying patients during treatment procedures.
  • The system is able to provide allergies or medical alerts to staff when scheduling a patient or during treatment proceedings. These alerts should be provided by the other applications in the information system. Alerts include any “abnormal” treatment results or any results beyond an acceptable range based on user-specified requirements.
  • The system is able to provide/maintain care plans and any user-defined patient care documents on demand. This includes access and prints capability to standardized nursing care plans according to patient’s diagnosis, degree of severity, and evidence. This facility is provided via checklist – user defined as well as patient care plan based on diagnosis.
  • The system have a comprehensive, flexible report writing capability, enabling users to generate statistical reports by querying various combinations of data elements resident in the system, including types of services rendered to patients and departmental statistics.

    - Online access to the Supplies Order System for order transmission and enquiry purposes.

    - Online access to Plant Facilities and Biomedical Engineering for facilitating the scheduling of preventive maintenance and work requests on all physiotherapy equipments, advance notification of due dates, etc.

    - Online access to the Inventory Stock Control Module for accurate inventory of stocks and the capability of calculating maximum/minimum stock levels and identify reorder values.

  • The system is fully integrated with the personnel system for staff allocation in the physiotherapy establishment. The system is also integrated with the financial and billing systems for accurate patient billing and costing of services.

    The system can accept various physiotherapy modalities, which could be added at any time with user-defined length of treatment slots.
